Red Light Winter tells the story of college pals Matt and Davis, who are spending a wild night together in Amsterdams Red Light District in hopes to rekindle their friendship. But a bizarre love triangle ensues when the beautiful, young prostitute they meet there returns to their lives a year later. Brutal, emotional truths are revealed and we observe the dangers of romantic obsession. The set needed to progress with the play but still be able to fit within strict limitations of budget and crew. A cobweb of piping and electrical nonsuch evoke the living conditions these characters are accustomed to. As the unrequited-love triangle reveals itself, the structure revealed its true purpose of entrapment and emotional entanglement.
